My 100,000 Yard Sale Find...Final Results

It is always cool to come across a big find in the hobby, sometimes it is a high valued card going for cents, or hundreds of thousands of cards for a hundred dollars.  I was instructed by my wife to go to a local friends yard sale this week because of looking at baby clothes.  I got there and was looking through clothes when I looked inside the garage and seen a recognizable sight of 5,000 count boxes. Nothing from the sale was inside the garage so the cards weren't marked for sale.  I asked the lady if they were for sale and she said that she was asking her husband to get rid of them.  She called her husband at work and he said he would take $200, but I was able to talk him down to $100.  It was kind of like bidding on a storage locker, you don't really know what is inside the boxes.

I spent the last few nights going through the boxes, breaking down what I needed and what I was going to donate.  If there is anyone that is in need of any common-semi star cards from 1986-1993 please let me know I can send some to you!

Though most of the cards are during the junk wax era, there was a very large amount of hall of fame caliber rookies and even though I'll donate about 80% of the cards, I feel I still made a good buy with the cards I am keeping for our families collection and for future trades.
