2 Blaster Boxes: 2010 & 2012 Bowman Platinum Break

Today I bought 2 Blaster Boxes of 2011 and 2012 Bowman Platinum, both boxes were $11.99 each (the 2012 wasn't marked, but rang up $11.99)!  I have read mixed reviews with people who love and hate Platinum, I am on the side of love them.  I think it is just because they are shinny and fun to look at.  The backs of Platinum are just like the ones used by Lineage, and I don't really care for them too much.  If it could add at least the previous year stat line I guess the backs to me would look better.

First I am going to show the best cards (rookies, prospects, special cards) pulled from the 2012 blaster box:

It seem like every box or pack I open there is a Bryce Harper, even last year pulling an AU Bowman Chrome Auto Bryce Harper from a retail pack.

Now I will show my pulls (rookies, prospects, and special cards) from the 2010 Blaster Box:

sorry again about lack of scanner right now!

I didn't get anything special like autographs, but I am not disappointed considering I got these for 40% off both.  Looking between the two years, I can see a vast improvement in card design and shine on the 2012 verses the 2010.

  1. Would you be up to trade the Shelby Miller (in the last photo)?
